
Australian Chris McCormack, or Macca, as he is known, is o
ne of the most recognized athletes in the sport of the triathlon. Chris entered the professional triathlon circuit in 1996 as an inexperienced rookie and rapidly rose to success.
Only eight months after his debut, he took the World’s No. 1 position by winning both the 1997 Triathlon World Championships and the 1997 ITU World Cup Series.
One of his greatest achievements was winning the Goodwill Games in 2001. Macca has won 8 Ironman Champions and has been named Triathlete of the year 4 times.
